you can check what is draining the battery by hooking a multimeter up and leaving the car off. see where the voltage is going.

Do you have a system in your car? If so I have found that some places will install an amp and not punch down the lead wire to the fuse box...They just loop it back into the amplifier power lead. Just a thought.

With the key off....Take one lead off the battery and connect an DVM set on amps in series. make sure no interior lights or acessories are on, reading SHOULD be very close to zero. If any current is being pulled begin to pull fuses and reinstall until you find the at-fault circuit. Thats the best way to start....

What aftermarket electrical pieces are in your car, theft deterrant, stereo, etc.?

When did the problem start?

this happened to me...not sure if its the same deal for you. Although the exciter wire that plugs into the alternator looked intact, the casing looked fine...but the actual wire was cut.

Check to see if your glove box light goes off when you close it. Sounds dumb, but thats what happened to me. The light knocked out of its holder and never went off and drained the battery.

Ditto for me. Hard to diagnose since most of us don't work on our cars in the dark. Simple problem causing a big PITA.
