Default what stall with MS3

probably going the stall route first on my A4 WS6 but was wondering what stall speed i should go with??, the largest cam i would end up goin with would be very similar to a MS3 o ya and either 373s or 390s will be with that

I would leave the rear-end alone and match the stall speed with the cam. Like 3600-4200 with stock gears.

although, i really would like to have gears, if i got 373s or 390s where about would i get a stall, i dont want over 3600, this is not just for drag racing , is it necessary to get such a high stall with a cam that big? or would say a 3200-3400 work just fine?

assuming you have 323s, i would recommend a 4400 stall. the difference between 4k and 4400 on the street is hardly noticeable at best. the difference at the track is in favor of the 4400.

I have a yank 4k tc. At first i hated it because it was a lil sluggish. But I improved it by porting the tb, and got myself the ws6 hi rise intake. Now i don't mind driving the car on the street. With the ms3 you should not go lower than a 4k tc.

I have a MS3 and a 3500 stall. I am sending it back to be restalled to 4200-4300. I have cut 1.62 60' times with the 3500 stalling it up to 2000 but its still too tight with my gears (4.10).

I have a TH-350 but if I had the 4L60E I would get about a 4400 or so and never look back. Remember, once the converter locks up the stall is gone. You are lucky. I have to drive around on the stall 24/7
