How much should I expect?
Alright, after buying my camaro from a shady Dodge dealership, I'm finally putting a new block in their.
Z06 block
Comp Cams TR 224/224 .563 lift
918 springs
SLP Flow Pac
Magnaflow Catback
160 stat
Mac Mids
One of the best tuners in Tampa
From stock (with a bad piston ring causing at least 3 quarts of oil a month), what kind of numbers should I expect?? I'm hoping close to 400hp.

well when i used to have that cam. i had....full bolt ons (LS6 intake, long tubes ORY...underdrive pulley, ported TB, lid all that good stuff) and with the cam only through my 10 bolt, it made 393hp and 373tq on a mustang dyno.
Then i threw on some patriot LS6 heads and managed to lose 5hp and 9#/ft of tq...i'm still trying to figure that one out. so i was down to 388hp and 364tq.
then...with my 9" i lost another 7hp and 15 #/ft of tq.....so i got pretty pissed of by this point and just did a cam swap again and i'm back up in the running with 421rwhp and 361tq
that's just my little TR224 power story lol hope you like it.....oh and when i took the cam out for my new one to go in...the nose of all the lobes was "flaking" off....somehow the heat treating process wasn't right?

for the record i had a 111.8 LSA with my TR224 cam
i know a few people in my area that have the same cam. (112's and 114's) with the same/similar bolt ons, and most of them made between 380-390 on mustang dyno's with manual cars.
it's a great dailey driver cam, but like all of us here, you get used to what you have after a while and it isn't fun anymore.....I'm already sick of my new cam lol...time for some power adder.....good thing winter is on it's way here in Michigan....

alright, i'm also apparently getting a new set of roller rockers. My ex supervisor sold his firebird, and had them left over because he didn't install them. So i figured i'd take them. How much more would i get on top of what i'm going to get so far?

Alright, I talked to the speed shop owner today. I had to ask him how this was going. He told me it was going good and that he'll be done by tomorrow. I asked him how much HP I would be looking at after a tune. He told me 330 - 350, but possibly more. The cam is slightly bigger than the TR224. Do you think he was trying to be nice because after the tune, I'd have more than that? Or do you think this is all I'm going to get? BTW, he has a mustang dyno.

Well, numbers are in the sig. I thought it'd be more, but I'm really happy with the turnout. He did a really good job on the car. Heads and gears are ordered.
