Default too stiff of a spring?

can you run too stiff of a valve spring? if so what will happen?

*Basically* the stiffer the spring the more often you'll have to change them.

Too stiff of a spring can cause the lifter plungers to collapse prematurely, especially at higher rpms. That's why they make rev kits that put more seat pressure on the lifter body instead of the plunger.
