Dont let that dude bother you. Anyway, My heads are currently milled .040 and I have no fitment problems with the LS6 intake. The FAST intake might fit a little differently though. Might have to shave the two ridges on the bottom down just a bit. Check to make sure the bolts also fit. They might need to be shaved down a hair as well.

Your first post was inaccurate and uninformitive. Plenty of people mill .050 or more. In many cases, milling that much IS better. It in no way means he needs new heads. Who are you to criticize him for not explaining that he had ETP heads when you were the one who gave out BAD information. Wether the heads are ETP, or any other make, he dosnt need new ones.

the ls6 heads I had on my stock motor required me to grind the brass bosses off the ls6 intake to get it to sit down lower to meet up with the heads a little better... usign silicone along with the intake gaskets will help insure a good seal there too, probably not needed unless they were angle milled.

something that needs/should be done when heads are milled at an angle. It's not something alot of people do with ls1's, but anyone that is farmiliar with old school sbc's and bbc's knows about that stuff. it does work with ls1's too, I actually have that set of heads off my car and for sale, if I could just find a buyer.
