i searched and couldnt find much.... im puttin a 220 .550 cam in a 5.3 and i was wondering if the stock lifters were the same as a z28 and you can still use them? also if 918 springs will work on the heads? is the truck firing order the same, for tdc method changing springs i need to know if its the same way i did my car... dont wanna drop a valve. i hear that everything is pretty much the same

you should be able to reuse the lifters
people put 918 springs on "truck" heads all the time
firing order is the same
TDC method should work, although thats now how i'd do it

basically the 5.3 and the LS1 are the same beast
