Default Head/cam combo???

I own a 2002 C5 Vette. It already had the LS6 Intake manifold. I have the money to purchase a head/cam combo. What should I go with?

I live in california and need to keep it smog legal. Any advice or steer in the right direction is a definate help to me. I want to see at least 380rwhp if not more. can this be done?

You need to do some extensive research first. learn about cams then heads.
Read the cam sticky in this section to start.

I made 461 with afr205's and a g5x3 in my c5. I was also running kooks headers, u/d pulley, and a fast 90 with an ls2 t/b. HTH

A guy I race with has a 99 frc and he added an LS6 intake, headers, EWP and a TSP 224/224 on a 112 cam and laid down 402rwhp on the dyno. I dont think you need heads to reach your goal but if you added them too it would be nasty! BTW his car has been trapping 122mph in the heat. Makes me want a 3050lb. car.

Dart Pro LS1 heads and a cam around 224/224 LSA114 should get you by the emisions police in CA. I don't think you can go any bigger on the cam and pass a smog test.
