Tick above 3k rpm Ive searched around and cant really find something that i can relate with. I have a 99 camaro ls1, Ive been getting a weird whining noise at start up, only when the car is warm. Also only when the car is warm, i get a ticking noise (simular to a exhaust tick) when im around 3k and above. The car has 75k miles(previous owner most likely beat it) lts, and some basic mods, ive been running 10-30, thinking about running 15w-40. Any Clue of the noise? lifter, rocker? Any advice would be helpfull, thanks
