Default Will this Cam Clear with 59cc LS6 Heads

Will there be a PTV issue using this camshaft with these heads. Does the pistons need to be notched.

Comp Cams 54-448-11, 238/240 .605/.609 @112

Patriot Performance GM LS6 Series Stage II 59cc

Using stock head gasket.

What will be SCR and DCR?

What Pushrod length should be used?

Assuming the cam is ground straight up and that this is on a stock bottom end...

I get 11.05:1 SCR and 8.0:1 DCR.

Using a Cometic .040 (recommended for proper quench): 11.4:1 and 8.24:1 DCR.

With 2 degrees of advance ground in (more typical), you'll get about .2 more on the DCR.

Not sure on the flycut, measure and see, but I'm guessing that you will have to fly cut.

You beat me to the flycutting comment. Rent the tool, you are going to need it.
