Default guys with heavly milled heads

What did u guys do to make ur intake fit after having your heads heavly milled....i have a aset of ETP that where milled .050 I was thinkin of having the intake milled down a lil to make the bolt holes line back up

my heads were milled about .045.intake fit,did not have to do anything.but if you do have trouble,i think you can elongate the bolt holes on the heads to make the intake fit.do a search,there was a thread on this awhile back.hope this helps...

try entering"GMPP LS6 heads".

What intake are you talking about the polymer ones or a cast one?

The proper amount to be milled of the port side of intake for correction alignment and sealing for each .010 removed off the heads or block is .0123 for correction cut and on the intake ends is .0173

We have always used this formular and we have had no problems so far and there use to be a link on the net but it know does not come up.

This info is based on the SBC

My heads are milled .040" and my 90mm Fast intake fits perfect.
