Should I go F13 or TR224?
[COLOR=Black]After i finish all of my supporting mods for a cam over the winter. I am going to purchase a cam. Which would be better for my pure street application. An F13 on a 112 LSA (230/232 .595/.585) or a TR224 on a 112 LSA (224/224 .563/.563). I would like it to have excellent driveability, like cruising at 1500 rpm. My target is to hit 390rwhp/rwtq cam only. Which is the best in terms of power and streetability? Or is there another cam that will be better for me? Im leaning towards the F13 but im not sure??

I completely agree you do not have to have a big cam, i have the 224 and am well over 400 at the wheels on a mustang dyno, freak maybe but I go for a 3rd verification dyno on the 21st and that will make 3 different dynos saying the same thing. So even if I am off a bit and the other dynos were being generous then I know 390 is attainable. But you will need to PP your heads or get heads to make any cam swap worthwhile IMO.

Get a 224 228 on a 110 +2 with comp xr-e. Any one can order from comp. I ordered mine from TSP. I got it in 3 days. I all so got springs and push rods. I got a ported oil pump and a crank bolt also. I was very easy to order a custom cam.

I'm running the comp 224 XER with .581 lift on a 112 and made good dyno numbers. i am happy with the driveability--its my daily racer, but i wish i would have listened to all my buddies telling me to go big the first time. i would recomend the F13. i have many friends with that cam and are very happy with it--great street manners with a tune.
