how much Power can Stock Crank handle?

Default how much Power can Stock Crank handle?

i was just wondering i am building a forged ls1 and keeping the stock crank and i was wondering if i have to change out the crank. i am planning on running about 1000 rwhp and didnt know if i had to change out the crank or not. so please help me out and let me know if the stock crank can handle this abuse. thanks

Honestly if you have the cash to make 1000 RWHP buy a crank.
It would be stupid not to.

Speed Inc just dynoed a car somewhat recently that made a little over 1000rwhp on the stock crank. As stated though, if you're planning on 1000rwhp and have the money to do that, spend the extra $1500 and get a good crank that can handle it for sure.

However I choose to build my next motor, it will still probably get the stock crank as I don't plan on seeing much more than 700rwhp or so on a progressive direct port kit.
