Those springs will be fine. The V3 is an evolution of the V2, and the V3 is supposed to make more low and mid range power. There is no reason you shouldn't step up to the V3. I bought it and will have dyno results on the 26th from TSP. Fratsit has this cam and is VERY pleased with it and will also have dyno numbers by the end of the month (hopefully).

Well the springs are rated to .650 and their lift is .643.... let's see; do this, carry the one, and... yep. They are good.

Torquer v3

the only reason i asked.. was cuz i was told once that once the springs are in the car... they have alil bit less than wat the actual lift capacity of the spring is...
for example.. i wanted to get the ms4...witch has a 649 lift.. and my springs are 650....i was told it was to close for comfort... so i decided to look for another cam...plus i heard some bad things bout the ms4....but n e wayz.. now that i kno... im at a better peace of mind... thanks again guys!

I hear ya bud. I am debating both of these cams for my wiinter swap as well. I am 95% sure it will be the V3 on a 111lsa but I want to keep my options open. The lift concerns me as well but hey. You will just have to check the springs sooner than with a smaller cam, no biggie.

yea im not worrying bout changing springs sooner.. i just dont want to float a valve or anything....changin springs is alot cheaper than screwin up your valvetrain...
will a 111 lsa be cool for a 150 shot? or would a 112 be a better choice?

Again, I am in the same boat. Theoretically the 112 would be better but not a substantial difference in my opinion. Now comparing a 114lsa to the 111 is a no brainer, the 114 is better to spray on. I am going to go with the 111 for more power under the curve off the spray as I dont see myself spraying that often.

oic...well i do plan on spraying.. but nothing over the 150 shot on stock internals.... so for now im shooting for heads/cam and spray.. i already have exhaust... cam is going in soon.. ima prolly just go with the 112... i mean i want it to sound really mean.. but i also dont want to hurt the motor.. running the wrong lsa with the wrong amount of spray...

You should definately "spring" for a good set of springs. If you go with the PRC duals that TSP includes in the package you will be just fine.

Numbers for me are coming. I am only waiting on EFIlive Flashscan V2 to hit the streets. Hopefully this week.

I am really interested to see what this cam will make on its own, and then compare it with those that have heads.

Stupid me....I went out and inked a contract on a house so my mod money is "nill" until the house it built and we close. My last little bit is going towards the tune and EFIlive.
