Default O2 sims or Tune

Is one better then the other? Using o2 sims or using a tuner to disable the rear o2's

well if you dont need a tune, the o2 sims are gonna be much cheaper, but if you have done things or are planning on doing more to warrant a tune then get the tune

Well.. i ask you a question, has your car ever been tuned before? If you answer no, then you might want to consider the following

If you need O2 sims because of headers, you are going to spend about 85$ shipped. Now, if you want to delete the rear O2's, change fan settings and have a mail order tune done, call up SpeedInc. Talk to Larry the shop manager. They do mail order tuning for $150, you send your PCM to them, they upload one of their tunes, you fill out a form with what your car has (gears, fan settings, cam specs, AIR delete, O2 delete, ect).. I had them do this for me.. and I netted 21rwhp from their tune, they also changed my fan settings, deleted my rear O2 and air, and adjusted my idle.

so just something to think about if thats the route you want to go.

Even though a mail order tune is more of a intial cash outlay the "value" is much better than 02 sims!!

Just look at the light until you get a cam, then get it tuned and have the things like AIR, EGR(pre-01 models), skip shift, rear 02s, etc, turned off.
