Default oil pressure differance between fbody and vette

I always thought this was strange. I bought a C5 vette and it will idle warmed up at 25 to 30 and driving about 40. If I give it hell it will go up to 60. I had a 98 Z28 and it ran about 40 to 45 all the time. My WS6 has the exact same as my 98 Z did. Why does the vette seem lower? All the guys on the corvette forum said that theirs is just like mine. I don't understand why the oil pressure moves so much compared to the F body cars. Are the gauges **** on the corvettes or what?

Oil pressure should change with rpm. Not sure on why your guage doesnt move in either of your cars, but when I had my T/A it was about the same as the vette.
