IMPROVEMENTS To The PRC LS6 Street Heads!!
Well guys after a month of tweaking & updating the LS6 program I'm proud to say the all new PRC LS6 port is now complete! This new port features smaller 230cc runners in place of the previous 237cc runner! This new runner will offer improved velocity, & equal flow to the previous port! As a result of these updates the new cylinder head will take less time to machine & nolonger need to be welded for rocker pedestal bracing. In 3 or 4 extreme circumstances the previous ports intake rocker pedestals have cracked under extreme use. While 3 or 4 heads out of several hundred is not a bad problem, we had been contracting out welding to the cylinder heads to provide support around the rocker area. (much like the GM Lingenfelter LS6 head has) These modifications weren't really neccessary, but more insurance than anything else. Fortunately the new program allows for no welding modifications to the cylinder head! As a result the cylinder heads now cost us a little less to produce! This drop in cylinder head cost allows us to now provide customers with a free 2.02" stainless steel valve upgrade!
These changes to the heads results in:
1. Smaller Runners
2. free 2.02" valve upgrade! (improved cylinder head flow as a result)
3. near stock p/v!!
4. improved velocity
Here's a few images I took of a set just out of the wash

Jason, can you describe the valvejob? Is it a multi-angled or is it radiused on both sides of the margin?
Thanks guys! Glad to see continuing improvements to a great product already!
