Default ETP heads....what needs to be modded?

Hey guys, I'm entertaining ETP's. What do I need to be concerned with modding?

TIA,

Alan

If you have a vette the alternator will need to be relocated and you'll need a new belt. Pushrods may or may not be different lengths on the intake and exhaust.

from what i understand you need a 8.050-8.100 pushrod with the ET heads, Rocker arm stands and obviouslly all parts for an assembled head (springs, retainers etc.) This is what I know from research.

In a Vette, you will need to notch the valve cover or move the alt slightly, but a Firebird or Camaro you do not have to. You will need to use our rocker stand if you want to use the factory rocker arm. The normal length pushrod you will need to use falls between 8.050" to 8.150". Other than tha it is pretty straight forward for a head swap.

How muck of a notch are we talking about?

Is it something I can do with a bench grinder or dremel?

TIA!

The last guy I talked to did it with a bench grinder. Really either should do.

Great, I was just curious if this was something that needed to be notched and then rewelded...

I've got all the rocker adaptors and different length pushrods coming with the heads..

Should I expect any PTV issues running 59cc's with a .040 Cometic and a G5X3/114?

Thanks for the help Craig!
