how does this set up sound to you guys?

ThunderRace 230 Cam
Airflow Research Heads
Kooks Headers
Spec-4 Clutch
90mm Throttle Body
Fast Intake

my car is basically stock at the moment....one guy i talked to gave me this list-says its the best....any comments?????

dump the spec for a textralia. and as far as the heads, if your on a fairly tight budget id say go with PRC LS6 heads from TSP. Awesome heads. If you do have the money the AFRs cant be beat. JMO though

The fatest cam only car runs a Spec-4 clutch, so my question is why not? If it is good enough for his car it would probably be just as good for someone elses.

If you are going to go spec and you plan on driving on the street get the Spec 3+ and that is more than enough clutch for your setup .

And terminator heads are about 600 less also

yes fastest cam only may be spec 4 but he isnt gonna be cam only, i would honestly say either or, both are very good clutches.

ok....would it be okay to just go w/ the cam...and no heads and possibly do the heads in the future?....also...is it nescessary to do the clutch, throttle body, and the intake???....what are my bare essentials here to do a cam?

I think FAST 90/90 setup is a bit over kill with cam only car
