4.8 vs 5.3 Heads?

4.8 vs 5.3 Heads? Hey, I bought a set of heads, cleaned with an enlarged intake valve seat for what I thought was a good price. I also though they were 5.3's. I found a 4.8 cast in the head, so now I assume they're actually 4.8's. I was gonna use them on a 6.0 as a long term project just to be all scientific and stuff. Are they worth porting and using? How can I verify if they are, in fact, 4.8's? Do the 4.8's have any specific advantages or diadvantages over a larger head? Assume nitrous or a turbo will be used on the buildup. Thanks in advance for any information!

4.8 and 5.3 heads are the same.
I wouldn't use either on a 6.0; not when 6.0 heads are that much better and very cheap. Cant you get a set assembled and CNC ported for $1000 with no core now-a-days?
