Default valve springs-heads

Hi guys im new to the site. I bought a 99 camaro ss that im planning to do a cam swap. I bought the 581 224/224 114 lsa cam with the 918 valve springs and titanium retainers. Are the 918 valve springs durable for a cam with 581 lift. I do not want to chage valve springs frequently, so would it be in my best interest to order dual springs?

Additionally, would ported ls6 heads/ls6 intake and the cam mentioned above produce around 400 rwhp? I have an M6, with headers and chambered exhaust.

Thanks

I would think the 918's will be fine, but any aftermarket spring is going to require routine maintenance, its unfortunately one of the trade-offs. Once the cam is in, the intake will be a choke point. Between heads and intake, the intake should be your next move assuming you have already addressed the exhaust side. If you can't afford everything, I would do intake/exhaust then heads down the road.

Good luck with the new cam
