Does your search button not work?
This thread pops up all the time. I promise that you will find the answer in 5 minutes of looking. Also if the search on here isn't working at the moment, www.google.com seems to take care of that problem well.
Anyway to help you out some. The 5.3 head is going to raise your SCR to about 11:1. They are also high velocity as well as the LS6 head.

Actualy, average ported 5.3s are in the 220 cfm runner while average Ls2/Ls6 are 227+
Valve drop on the 5.3 is a bit tighter (a tad) and ported, both can flow around the same (300cfm +/-). both have stock 2.02 seats on intake.
About a year ago, 5.3s were the budget casting of choice, but with the intro of LS2, prices on 243 casting dropped dramatiacally and now the 243 shines.
