I do know that the SDPC 402 I bought recently came with everything but the knock sensor harness. It also came with a great reputation which I don't think the SLP includes.

I really respect him for saying what he did and not compromising his opinions and thoughts for someone that just PAYS this site money. If the truth hurts, they need to do something about it.

you obviously havent seen the threads with people who had their motors literally fall apart and then not be warranteed by slp who said they werent yet it states they are on the website. he has every right to bash their crappy craftsmanship and horrible customer service.

Hi

That is the real value in using this forum. To get help from experienced techs and enthusiasts. Thanks for the heads up. I will shop elsewhere for a motor.

Firehawk441 - However, my opinion is just that. Opinions. I would like to be able to help you as much as I can. I was not bashing SLP. They make good lids. I was giving him as honest of an answer as I could from my own experiences and encounters.

JGA - Try: Thunder Racing/Texas Speed/LME/SDPC for a solid shortblock and awesome technical advice as well as cam and head choices.
