Default will this work???

my car= LS1 A4 I plan on keeping stock heads and no N2O or FI, so i will have to rely on my cam for a lot of power, I am wanting to put headers on( just bolt ons for now) and want to run just dynomax bullets off the headers so its louder than all hell, I have heard to stay away from this unless i will be running at least high 10s, (which i wont, high 11s most likely)because if not I will need to take advantage of scavenging with, X,H,or Y. BUT if i went with a reverse split cam like this one from Thunder Racing 236/230 .602/.575 112 LSA which is a reverse split, will that work (thinking that the exhaust side will need the least restriction possible due to the reverse split) ???? i guess work WELL is more of the question.....

less weight would also be a reason for this.....

I would run a traditional split anyway and put some pipes on there. You will lose some low end grunt due to the fact that you are sacrificing scavenging/exhaust gas velocity.

You can run a reverse split and achieve a bigger intake, but if you are running headers then I would still do a traditional split.

What is your goal for this car? running 11's?

the weight savings will hardly outweigh the scavenging effects.

I am with Orange on this one...I would run a traditional split cam anyway. With no jucie or FI and heads....I would probably run some sort of h, x, or y pipe.

You want louder than all hell with a cam only and still have good scavenging...go with my exhaust!
