Help me identify rearend parts,bodyshop screwed car my car rear readended sept 24th and just now it got fixed..it seems the floor isnt fixed..its chipped and still hass a dent in it..the big white/tannish color box has 2 dents in it.its the box closest to the license plate..is that the gas tank?where is the gas tank located??and their is 2 black bars in front of my rearend..front meaning closest to the rear..one bar is even with the rearend..their's another bar right on tip it slanted from top to bottom..is this ok?remember i have a vert but i've never seen this piece before.

Re: Help me identify rearend parts,bodyshop screwed car The gas tank is located directly over the rear axle. Its a metal tank on 98 cars, but is plastic on 99+ cars.
Those two bars you saw behind the axle are the frame connection crossmember (the level one) and the one that slopes from the passenger side top, down to the driver's side bottom of the axle, is called the panhard rod.
