Can I convert LS1 to LS2?
I have the LS6 intake manifold, I know that if I put 243 heads in and an LS6 cam that I will have the equivalent to and LS6 with the exception of the block and electronic throttle control. So that's roughly converting an LS1 to an LS6, not truly an LS6 but it would perform identically correct? So if I had the LS6 heads and cam, could I bore my cylinders to 4.00" and use LS2 pistons and rods? If so, wouldn't it perform roughly the same as if I put a real LS2 in?

Not to jack, but I was wonderring this aswell..
If one were to go with, let's say, the MTI 427 punched and stroked LS2 block, would LS1/6 heads swap over and throw a FAST 90/90 on? The block head bolts and coolant passages look identacle.

Dammit! Well I saw a LS2 block for $900 +/-. Is there any way I could build an LS2 bottom end with that block and bolt the 243 heads to it while using my manifold and t/b? And could my computer run this engine?
