I'm looking into an accusump system for my car. Thing is, the stock LS1 pan sits below my K-member, and if I do the accusump setup I'll definately want to make the pan shallower for more clearance. Problem is, I don't have much clearance on the sides or really, anywhere. So what I'm wondering is, is there an oil pan out there that's the exact same as the OE pan, except with just a shallower sump?

Also, I can't lower the front of the pan AT ALL without it hitting the rack.

I think the LS2 C6 pans are shallower, but may have an issue with the rack. Check out Street and Performance catalog. I am sure they dimensions are listed. There are also some pans and their dimensions shown in a "sticky" in the Conversion forum.

As far as I know, the LS2 vette pan is the shallowest of the LSx pans. That is the one I plan on using for my S10 build. Alot less cutting.
