Default ticking on driver side need info

I have this ticking sound coming from the driver side its very faint at idle but between 1000-2000 rpm it gets alittle louder then sound disappears. I'm kind of wondering if I have a bad lifter. Has anyone heard of this or better yet has anyone had this happen to them.

Mine did that for a day or two and then it started getting super loud. I thought it was a lifter too cause the springs and valves were all good. I never figured it out though cause i used it as an excuse to build a 383. let us know what you find out.

Happened to me, luckily it was just a loose plug on #7. I'd check all the drivers side plugs to make sure they are tight.
