Upgrade from 228R Question
really beatiful cam, but i need a little more top end power, while keeping my tq down low. i'm happy with the low/mid range power, but i'd like to get an extra top end puch. my rev limiter is set at 7000rpm now, the 228R is peaking at 6300rpm, and i'm shifting at 6700-6800rpm now.
i was wonder how the Patrick G cam would fare againt this cam. i don't want to go with a peaky cam, i'm keeping the stock 3.46's. would it be worth it to upgrade to such cam? i believe it was a 228/232 110+0 ?
i have PRC dual springs,titanium retainers,seals,chromoly pushrods,etc,etc.
also, i have around 7-8k miles with my current combo, would i need to buy springs again ?
Thanks
