Default cam swap

I have a 99 Silverado with the 4.8L in it and also a 2000 Z28 Camaro that I have took the stock cam out of and upgraded a little. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the specs on the 99 4.8L and the specs on the 2000 Camaro cam. Im off work this week and have nothing better to do than swap out the 4.8L cam with my stock cam and springs out of the camaro. Also I need to ask if everything is compatible as far as the cam and springs. Thanks for your time I used search but came up empty handed.

Everything should be compatible, but you qare going to do that work for little to no gain. I would consider it if it was a ZO6 or an LS6 cam, but not the low duration/lift stocker.

Well, there are 2 different LS1 grinds. Depending on the year you have it will vary.

A 2000 Z28 should have the lower duration cam.

Was it 01? I thought that the 98-99 had a slightly bigger grind.
