F14 - idles every bit as good as the F13 and better than the TR230, and will make more power than both.

Edit: assuming you have a stall

It will definitely have a choppy idle, by "good" I mean that you won't have any problems with it being un-managable on the street when driving everyday.

F14 is a great cam! As well as the F13. I would rock the F14 if given the opportunity.

My buddy daily drives and weekly drags his FM-13. I like more aggressive Cams so since they are local I'd go FM-14. You wont me dissapointed.

Blake,

How do you figure that both of them will idle better than the TR230? Have you listened to mwill's car? His car is VERY tame. With a decent tune it will drive just like stock. Honestly there is no magic in any of these cams.

ANY of the above mentioned cams are going to need to be tuned to work properly. Between the TR230 and the F13 there have been threads on this board that would suggest that the power numbers would be similar. Look at people who haven't been on Thunder Racing or Futral's dyno. Independent results look similar for both cams.

Bottom line is that slamed1500 should buy the cam from whatever vendor gives him the best service and he feels most comfortable dealing with.

Check out both threads. Sure some results might be higher or lower in either direction, these two threads represent what these cams are capable of in realworld applications.

I have heard that the Futral cams will beat the cam bearings out of the motor?
