So you think the ethanol caused that? Interesting..

I only use Amoco Ultimate 93 they have the best gas!!! Might be cause I work for them. There is only one Amoco station in Texas. It is only for the employees in Texas city.

i used to use shell 93 but it would kinda sputter every now and then like the fuel filter was clogged or something so i switched to Amaco 93 and haven't had a problem since and the car feels alittle stronger too

Re: is SHELL gas bad?
I used to use Amoco, but when I switched to Mobil I noticed an improvement in MPG and it seemed to run just a little better.
Honestly though, I think it comes down to going to the busiest stations. The gas there is always freshest.
I don't go to the "cheap" stations though, like Clark, 66, Shitgo, Road Pilot, etc. Or any station that has only one pump for all three grades. You never know what might be left in the hose from the last guy.

Re: is SHELL gas bad?
you guys must have some sensitive cars I run 92 or 93 from really any station all runs the same IMO. I drive about 1000 miles a week so I have tried mostly anything in whatever areas I am in.
Most every state I have ever been to has 10% ethanol in all grades of gas regardless of brand. You just do not see the sticker saying it.

Thats what James at TNT said would be the only thing to make the material swell and stick. We couldnt figure out where it came from. Itll swell the material on the plunger in the fuel solenoid
