Default PP 96mm Typhoon Intake for stock cubes??

I am debating on whether or not to purchase the 85mm or the 96mm typhoon intake that just came out from professional products. I have talked to a few people and they have been telling me to go with the 85mm since i am stock cubes and that i would not see much of a gain from going to the 96mm. I plan on building a 402 this spring but need an intake soon for my stock cube h/c motor since i already sold my ls6.

My question is should i just buy the 96mm for my stock cube motor since i will be building a 402 shortly. Since i have been told I will not see much of a gain from 96 to 85mm why wouldnt i just get it over with now and buy the 96mm instead of buying an 85mm and then have to sell that when i build the 402. Will i lose anything from going to a 96mm?

well might loose a bit in midrange, but nothing that would make it worthwile buying 2 kits one after another.
Let us know how it works out.

Thats exactly what i was thinking. I can give up a few more on the midrange and not have to swap kits a few times. I want to do a cam swap at the same time but i really wanna be able to show some before and after dyno numbers of just the intake swap.
