what internals for a forged 346 on boost
I am going to be running a D1sc with around 10#s at first and probably upping that to around 15# later on. I would be runing the stock block and crank with LQ9 truck heads from Patriot. I am gunning for a compression ratio of around 9.5:1 so I figure I am looking for piston that's about the same dish as stock. Just looking for the right parts for as cheap as possible that aren't going to break or need to be replaced every thousand miles. I was thinking crower rods and diamond pistons but I'd like to get your ideas on the subject.

He's what I am building for my boosted motor..This piston with the LQ9 heads will be 9:1 compression..
Motor details
346ci, Eagle LS1 6.125" rods, Diamond -8.6 dish pistons, stock crank, new LS6 block, ARP head bolts, custom ground Comp Cam 226/232 116LSA, Texas speed CNC LS6 stage 2.5 heads 64cc chambers 2.04intake 1.575 exhaust valves, Will put me right at 9.5:1 compression.

the only thing special really is a Boost/NOS piston and most people use Diamond Pistons.
And make sure the rods you use are ls1 specific.
What you really need to think about is the power lvl you want to acheive, Stock cranks and Rods 99+ with upgraded rod bolts work great.
You can check out my link and see what all i have, its a bit extreeme but hey i am shooting for al lot of power

I agree, that sounds like to much power for the stock rods. Does anyone know how crower rods (LS1 rods) are? SDPC sells em for like 485 or something like that which is pretty cheap. I was thinking about them since crower is a pretty good product but I haven't heard about to many LS1 builds.
