Default Should I keep my comp R's or ditch them

I'm going to be putting a new cam in next month (234/242 .575/.595) and I have comp R lifters right now but I hate how sensitive they are. I'm thinking about selling them and getting the new gmpp race lifter, or I could get crane or comp replacements. Will I lose any power with these lifters over the comp R's? Basically what I'm asking is even though a lifter works fine, can you gain power by switching to a better lifter (comp R or morel for example).
