Default How big of a difference between BIG cam/good heads vs. tr224/good heads?

I am debating whether or not to swap out the cam. What power differences would there be between say, a g5x4 / t-rex and prc heads vs. tr224 and prc heads? If there isn't much of a power difference I think i'd just stay with tr224.

Are you concerned with peak power or power under the curve?

i really would like to know also. all i hear all the time is bigger isnt always better. i posted the same type of quesiton on another, even though i know you mentioned 1/4 mile, im wondering how a 224 cam would hold itself vs. like the bigger cams from a roll?

ive read some memebers who went from a 224 cam to a big cam, regret it, and some that are happy. so hopefully we can get more info also. i would like to hear from the auto guys. i was just doing research there was a guy with out of the box afr 205 and a little 222/222 cam and he made 398rwhp. thats without a pulley, or tb or fast 90. plus its smaller than the 224 cam.
