Smile Intake manifold 180 deg. rotate ?

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this board and allready read quite a few interesting posts

I'm curious if it would be possible to rotate the ls1 / ls6 manifold 180 degree so that the throttlebody would face the back of the engine ?
due to some lack of space in the body i'm swapping it in ...

Thanks, JeeJee

What about the oil pressure sensor? Does it get in the way of the throttle body? I had assumed it bolted up correctly thanks to the interchangable L or R heads, but I didnt know if the sensor woudl then be in the way.

Then again, I think ive seen a couple sand rails with it on backwards...

Now you will have the dreaded #2 cylinder running lean instead of the dreaded #7

Wow, I wouldn't have ever thought of that. Pretty cool. I'm going to run mine like that for fun.

The map sensor and vacuum line are on the intake, not attached to the block. Since its a custom application im sure he can route the wiring and plumbing wherever it needs to go.
