Stock Camshaft Identification How do you Identify stock LSx camshafts by the numbers stamped in the end?
I have a stock camshaft with the numbers 1721 s 06 2056 e1 on the back. I am not sure if its a 98-00 LS1 F-Body cam or a 01-02 LS1 F-Body cam. TIA

According to the 2006 GM performance parts catalog that is a 2001-2004 LS1/2002-2006 LQ9 cam. The whole part number listed is #12561721. 196/201 @ .050 .467/.479 116*. Hope that helps.
