Default higher idle on stock converter?

ok, so I am ready to throw the cam in, and i think I am gonna need to boost the idle a few rpms on my stock converter. I had a th-350 idled high in my stingray, and the pulling against the brakes didnt bother me

what are the potential problems of bumping up the idle on a stock stall ?

You will be standing an the breaks hard to keep it stopped at idle. You will be fighting to stop it.. It will slam into gear.. I drove like that for about 1 month and hated it with a passion.. Get a stall in that thing.. You will need it to take advantage of the cams power band..

DO NOT be afraid of the stall! You will see bigger gains from the stall than the cam...

That is all I have to say.
