Default Who best to buy a 383 shortblock from?

Hi,
I want to buy an assembled 383 shortblock for road racing purposes.

Who best to buy from? I live in Ohio, though this should not matter since I'll have the motor shipped.

I want a QUALITY build with support after the sale, obviously at a competitive price. For Bad experiences, please PM me.

JTL

I am up in Toronto, not to far away! Ive done a few 383's. Were you looking for complete short with cam/chain/oil pump, etc?

I actually did a 402 for ' SCannons ' C5 that lives in ohio, somewhere near Summit. Ask him about our service. Thanks
Dave

I went with Futral because he is right by me. Otherwise, I would go with LME Late Model Engines they use good parts and great people over there.

Erik has his own shop now, and he is awesome. I'm not sure what's happening with HPE.

Also, LME is great.

If I buy an engine from you, what's it cost to ship to Ohio from Canada?

+1 on LME

I live half way across the world so reliable built was of the outmost importance.

Bryan Neele at LME delivers what he promises. My 370, doesn't burn oil, and the numbers in my sig speak for them selves with a smmall 232/234 cam.
Not to mention part quality for $$$
And the crate was so tough, I had to take a small sledge hammer to free the motor.
Super service.

I would be willing to meet you half way to save you some money, or its probably 250-300 to ship by truck freight.
