As the title states. LS6 heads (TSP LS6 heads if it matters).

On AFR, .006" = 1cc flat mill.

It's not an exact formula, it's really an approximation/rule of thumb. TSP would be the best person to ask this question to. They cut your valvejob and are more familiar with how many thousandths need to come off for a target volume.
