ASA cam or similar custom cam w/ Dart or AFR 205's does that sound like a good combo?
the final setup I would like is the ASA or similar custom cam and AFR or Dart 205's and a 90/90.
How do you think that setup would perform?

I think that the ASA cam is designed to work well with stock heads; or the heads Lingenfelter provided for the ASA series race engines. Out of the box either of those heads would want a cam with a lot more lift.
Any reason you want to stay with a small lift cam? Those heads both come assembled with valve springs that can handle .581" lift or more.

so I wouldnt have to change springs every 20K or more.
but I was considering a 228/232 custom cam 110+4 anyway. most like it would have .591 or so anyway

I really have my eye on a custom comp 228/232 .581 .588 110+2 or +4 XE-R and a set of small port AFR 205 or Dart 205's
can I make 450+hp/420+ trq ????
