Default Trex vs 244/248 stroker cam

specs: Thunder Racing TRx V.2 - 242/248 .608/.612 110lsa +2
Stroker Cam: 244/248 612/618 on 112

Why is it that a trex can fit in stock ls6 head with no milling, flycutting, stock gaskets, and small 2.00/1.5 valves, but the stroker cam can't. does the extra 2 degrees in duration really make that big of a difference?

Do the lobes have the same ramp rate? Why not run a 110, drop the duration a little, and run a little more lift?

I was thinking of this thread BTW...
