Default Anyone tried this cam?

224/224 .581/.581 @ 115 LSA Comp Cam. I'm using it now NA with LT headers, LS6 manifold, 243 heads w/ dual springs on a stock LS1 bottom end. I went with this cam to pass CA smog, w/ smooth idle, as well as anticipation of adding a blower in the future. Please let me know your experience and thoughts with this cam. I do spirted canyon carving with a C5 for fun.

How is the idle? What rpm does it idle at? Any shake/noise inside the car?

It idles at 750 just like stock. Barely a noticable shake.

Did you get a dyno tune? I'm thinking about getting a 224 cam myself. Please post a dyno graph if you have one.

Fyi I'm a noob. But I thought in CA you couldn't do LT's because it changed the location of the stock cats... right?

I'm getting the Vette dyno tuned on Friday. Long tube headers are not legal in CA.

I have that cam on a 112 LSA. It shakes and has a noticable lope. I laid down good power for stock heads, and an awesome tq curve. I averaged 360 ft-lbs accross the entire rev range. Made 380 rwhp and 375 rwtq.
