Default people with comp 1.85's

two questions in one really.

any problems with these things? throw on a forget? have to adjust every 10k miles?

next question, how to figure gross lift. cam is a .480 of dod, .483 on dod cylinders
stock is 1.7 i believe. would i have to change the springs to compensate for the 1.85 rockers?

motor is an ls4 if that means anything ya

dunno, lemmie know~

I put them on my truck about 100k or so miles back. I left them a little loose on the initial adjustment, and they are finally starting to make enough more noise that I think I should readjust. They were put on the truck at about 120,000 miles, and it is at almost 227,000 now. They will probably interfere with your stock valve covers, even though some sources say otherwise.

On my 99 Silverado the rocker covers went on with no problem. On my 04 I had to grind off the rivets that hold the splash shields in place and remove the shields to get the covers to fit. The rockers would have probably peaned those thin gauge aluminum shields out of the wayafter a while, but I decided to put in the extra time and grind off the rivets.
