Default How much to mill stock 243s?

I want to put stock 243s on and want to mill to boost low-end, how much should I go? My pistons are flycut .090 and I have a 236/236cam.

.030 should be fine. If you want more than that i would run a .040-.045 cometic. .090 SHOULD be plenty of clearance with a 236 cam. You should always double check though. Its too easy to not do it.

how much would the compression be at .030 and or .040? Would .040 be too much milling?

From what I have read, .030 should put LS6 heads at 59 ccs. .040 should put LS6 heads at 57.5 ccs. I have -4cc Mahle forged pistons, so I should have plenty of clearance. I'm planning on milling .040 off to get my DCR in the 8.6 range.

I thinking 11.0/1 compression, would .030 put me over that? Would 0.025 be better about 61cc chamber?
