Default Deck Height Question

My machine shop told me they decked the block "10 out of the hole". What's my deck height? Motor details in sig.

0.010" above the deck, the pistons are going to come out of the block that much. I think that is what your asking.

So, if I'm running a F13, patriot heads milled .003-5", and deck height of .010", will 7.400" pushrods be okay? What is the stock deck height of an 98' LS1? Thanks

stock pistons are .007 out of the hole if that's what you're asking.

I'm not sure what lobes Futral is using atm, still Cam Motion?? Anyways, I don't know how much if any smaller the base circle is on a F13 over a stock lobe so I can't calculate exactly the length you need.

you're shorter by about .010 not factoring in a smaller base circle (possible, and would make a perfect pushrod a tad longer) and PR's usually vary in .025 increments unless custom.. I would guess 7.400 would be the closest.
