Default Started my cam swap

Well I finally started my cam swap over the holiday. When I needed to swing my a/c condenser up thats when i had my first problem. I was being very gentle with the lines and then the hissing sound began
I think i am going to need to replace the upper condenser line. Other than that the cam swap is coming along. I am down to pulling the timing cover to swap the cam/chain/oil pump and then changing the springs/pushrods. (i installed my headers in the middle of all this if you are wondering why its taking so long.)

As soon as I glanced at your avatar, I stopped reading the rest of your post.. Something about a cam-thingy-ma-bob??

Sounds like you are on your way, too bad about the leak in the A/C system.

Don't feel bad about the A/C line. I had to replace the upper line, too. Mine didn't start hissing until like 5 minutes before it was time to fire up the engine. I was like, "**** you, A/C line. I'm about to have 400rwhp."

Is the cam a tr 230/224? I had that the year before last. It was an awsome cam. I kinda wish I would have kept it. It made 390 with all bolt ons and ran times in sig.

TR has some good grinds, man. I think you'll be happy with the cam whether you have the 230/224 or the less popular 230/236. The former has put down some really nice numbers for a lot of members, and the latter has certainly kept me happy. In fact, I tore up the cam and replaced it with the very same thing when I rebuilt recently.
