Default Doing Clay test for my cam swap, Will i need new head gaskets?

Well i am buying the MS4 along with everything needed to go with it tomorrow but anyways just to be on the safe side i was going to do a clay test. As we know that involves taking the heads off. Will i need new gaskets or can i use stockers?

I will be buying heads later but that will be prob in march . The car has 109k miles on it so let me know your thoughts?

Thanks
B.J.

You can not reuse the gaskets you pulled off. Order a new set of factory gaskets. Contact the people that made the cam and just ask them if you need to fly cut....if they say its going to be close then i would check...do you know if your heads have been milled before?

You also don't need to do a clay test.No need to pull the heads to test P/V clearance.

Its the MS4 and they are supposed to clear just fine with the stock heads but i know that people make mistakes.
One of my buddies got a cam and it was ground wrong and it tore his engine to **** and back. So i was just going to do it for the heck of it just to make sure.

TSP says that theres no problem with PTV with stock heads and the MS4 but as i said people make mistakes. So ya'll think i should do the clay test or am i just being ****??

personally (i did it aswell when i had 110k & installed a MSv3) i would just stick the cam in it and run the crap out of it. when you do the heads later, that would be the good time to check PTV clearance for sure
