Are you totally stuck on ET? Have you checked into the TFS heads? Their 215's are baaaad ***.

My cousin's vette is making close to 500 rwhp with the ETP bare castings and RHS's CNC program. He has a FAST 90mm intake with a ported LS2 90mm TB. A custom grind cam, Jessel 1.7 SS series shaft mout rockers, SLP 85mm mass air sensor, 36 lb/hr injectors, double roller timing chain, Comp Cams 'R' series lifters, ported oil pump, SLP long tube headers, Kook's 3" x-pipe system's with cats, TPIS 2 3/4" cat back exhaust, and a Ram Powergrip HD clutch & flywheel.

I was torn between the ET and TEA Trick Flow heads. I ended up going with the Trick Flows for a number of reasons.

1. Many people have had problems with ET's valve springs causing a wierd dip in their dyno graph (search it)

2. I have also heard the wait time for ET heads end up being months long despite what ET says.

3. Trick Flows were available right away and it only took a couple weeks for them to arrive.

I have to say that the customer service at TEA is top notch. Brian even called me to double check my chamber size before they milled my heads. In the end they delivered EXACTLY what I wanted and when they said they would. Can't hurt to check them out.

The RHS heads I was mentioning above were on the shelf ready to ship at the time of my order. I did order these heads bare and finished them out myself to match the rest of the H/C package. The only place that I know that has a long enough 8mm valve for these heads is Rev. I used some 5/16" Ferrea valves that are 5.45" long and gives you a 1.9" valve spring installed height.

I have the ETP 225s with the .700 spring package. The results speak for themselves.

ETP 215 will be the best choice.

Match the valve springs to the cam profile and any "issues" you may have heard about of disappear.
