Default C5r timing cover

Hi , I am a newcomer and even though my question is not very technical I believe this is the right section .I have bought an incomplete C5r engine that I want to put into my TVR. The timing cover is missing but there is a flat alloy plate that bolts onto the front of the engine which has the holes for the waterways and supports the front of the dry sump pump . Is this standard on this engine and can I obtain the Timing cover to add to this or should I just run a more conventional arrangement ? thanks for any help , David

I don't have an answer to your question, but are you putting it in a Speed 6 or an older one?

I have a T350 which is one of the speed six engined cars , it is particularly suitable because it require a dry sumped engine . I have a Griffith and a Cerbera aswell but the engines in those have been faultess but with the speed six it is probably only a matter of time .Hopefully pic of car attached
